Once a year, the best drivers should come together to race each other in a stock car. This would be awesome for motorcycle riders as well.
In racing, money chases talent, but it also skews it. I think a lot of folks would love to see everyone race on a level field, to make for a true challenge of talent. Cars/bikes would be fitted with:
Enhanced brakes (rotors/pads/DOT 5 fluid)
Mildly adjustable suspension (ride height, fast/slow speed bump/rebound, alignment)
Question I ask is, what vehicles and tracks would you guys propose? I feel like for the car race a Cayman GTS at Mugello would be nice. Then for the bike race, Kawi ZX-6R at Phillip Island.

Doesn't this already exist in the form of one make/spec series racing?

IMO we need an actual stock series. Nascar and DTM have gotten so far away from "stock car racing" that I really couldn't care less about them.

i'm even thinking way back to the litre class battle of the twins, when even Harley participated and the Britten became a thing. the trouble with a displacement class is that a ninja 636 and a Honda 650 aren't even close to the same level of performance and development... like 50 Hp and 100lbs apart.
